From the beginning of June to mid-August is the perfect time to experience a unique play of colors in Haute-Provence: lavender fields as far as the eye can see. Take a drive on the mountain route and discover the beautiful mountain villages of Moustiers-Sainte-Marine and Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. And if you’re lucky- you can even snap the perfect lavender field picture near Valensole. The excursion can also be combined with a detour to Lac de Sainte-Crox.
